More Miami

Since it's been raining these past few days we haven't been going out much. Today we ventured to Little Havana and had some kick ass cafe con leche and guava/cheese pastries. Nainoa didn't care for the guava. We leave tomorrow and I am getting sad. Next time we see each other will be in L.A. at the end of October. It's has been a great trip. Wish me luck on the flight tomorrow!

South Beach

Today was Eye's first real day off in 8 days. He is been working so hard that today all he wanted to do was lay around the beach and that we did! We had a leisurely morning and rode the bus to South Beach. We hung out with Steve, Loretta and Glynnis at the beach right in front of the Delano hotel, my favorite hotel and spa in Miami. The weather was perfect. Sunny, breezy and not that humid. The water was refreshing. Nainoa loved watching the waves run over his feet. He got really into picking up and throwing sand everywhere. He had a blast playing the water and in the sand. Nainoa even took a two hour nap! I kept on thinking that the breeze and the ocean sounds must have had something to do with it. I love South Beach. So many great memories. I auditioned for Stomp here with Mish, than came back here with the show twice and now we are here again with Nainoa. Tomorrow more beach and my favorite breakfast place News Cafe!

Ahhhhh.

A father and son moment.

My naked beach baby!

Knocked out for 2 hours. Love that.

Miami bound!

Nainoa and I are taking a red eye flight to Miami tonight. If all goes well he'll wake up at 6:05 am in Miami and not even know he's was on a plane. (fingers crossed please!) I am so excited to see Eye and see all my Stomp family and friends. I am not taking my computer. (GASP, Mish aren't you proud of me?) But I won't be completely cut off so I will try and post from Eye's new MacBook. Here is a little more of what Pandemonium is.

Play date + Photography

We went had a play date last week with Sofia. Her cool parents are just our speed. Sofia's mom is an up and coming photographer and Sofia's dad is a drummer for Cirque's Elvis show.
They love to barbeque, hang out and talk story. It was just what we needed before Eye left for 10 weeks. On our way out Sofia's mom snapped a couple of photos with her super duper camera. Thanks for a great hang and beautiful photos I will always cherish!

Do Fun Stuff

I have been following Pacing The Panic Room blog ever since I saw Cole's maternity series. I also fell in love with A Walk to 40 weeks. I love this blog. I love that Ryan begged his musicians friends to write songs to for an album to help raise money for Smith Magenis Syndrome. His stepson has SMS and with the power of internet Do Fun Stuff made it to number one on iTunes Children's Album chart. Eye, Nainoa and I can't stop singing track number 2, Potty Time. I haven't even made it through the whole album because Nainoa just wants to hear Potty Time. Every time the song ends he signs and says, "more..more..more." Do yourself a favor listen below and buy the album or at least buy Potty Time, because "Who wants to potty? We want to potty!"

36 Hour in L.A.

Celebrating Marley's blessing.

Playing with pasta with Pema.
(Check out her Chinese language skills here, plus more cute pics of Nainoa getting fresh.)
How cute is it that they are dressed the same!

Studio City's Farmer's Market. Nainoa was more interested in sitting in the chair than the cute little chicks.
