Chinese New Year, Freemont StI survived the first week of school. I have a lot of reading and papers this semester. Yuck. I haven't had to write a paper since 199_? I am so thankful to have my parents here to help me as well as my awesome husband. Nainoa is going to school two Monday and Wednesday from 9:00-4:30. He really enjoys it now. There are some days he says he doesn't want to go but he ends up wanting to stay longer at the end of the day! Progress.
I feel like the is no end in sight when it comes to potty training. Nainoa has ZERO interest in going to the potty. I try to bribe or to make it fun and he still won't go. Ugh. I am at a loss. Everyone says don't rush, he'll do it when he's ready. WHEN IS THAT? If I remember correctly Tutu said Eye wasn't potty trained until he was four? Maybe it's genetic.
Since Eye is gone next week I wanted to have a family outing before he left. I am always so busy with school. I have to make it a point to have some sort of family outing once a week. Since is was the Chinese New Year there is a ton of fun things to do here in Vegas. Tonight we went to Freemont Street to watch the lion dancers and dragon dancers. Nainoa loved it. In the car on the way home he said, "Mommy I want to do the lion dance. Will you come and lion dance with me?"
