Nainoa is 19 months and getting cuter and cuter everyday. His language, memory, and humor are growing everyday. One of the things that he does that makes himself laugh is call me, "Uncle Mommy." He just thinks that is the funniest things in the world. He such a parrot these days that we really have to watch our mouth. He said the F-bomb twice the other night on his Daddy's watch of course. Nainoa loves to drum, play piano, read books, dance, play with any sort of ball (he can name every type of ball) and go the new indoor playground called Kinderland Cafe. One of his favorite things to do is go to Guitar Center with his Daddy and play on all the instruments.
We are having so much fun with Nainoa. On his last check up he weighed almost 28 pounds. He is over the 95 percentile in his height and 75 percentile in his weight. Doc said he's advanced in his language for his age. He's basically talking like a two year old and boy so are his tantrums. Yes the terrible twos have started over here. Nainoa can throw a mean tantrum when he doesn't get his way. He does the flop on the ground and cry when things don't go exactly his way. I really feel at a loss on the best way to discipline. I need to figure out our way of disciplining Nainoa. Part of my New Years resolution is to read more so here are the some of the books I am picking up from the library tomorrow. Playful Parenting, No-Cry Discipline Solution and Raising Cane: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys. If anyone else has any good ones please let me know!
