Me and my boy
I love this photo of my brother reading to Nainoa.
Adventures and stories from first time parents of Nainoa.
Yesterday I taught my second private Pilates session post cesarean. I instructed wearing my P-sling while Nainoa was fast asleep. He almost made it all the way through the hour. About 40 minutes into the private, he peed right through his P-sling. I changed him, then breast fed him AND taught at the same time! I ROCK! It felt sooooo good to know that I can teach while being a babywearing, breastfeeding momma! Yea for me! Thank you J for being such an understanding student.

My parents are moving in with us at the end of March! I am soooooo excited! Ever since Ivan and I got married, she's been dying to have another grandchild to take care of. She always said, "When you have your baby, I'll move in with you and help you." I really want my son to know my parents, to really know them. I want him to know how sweet and soft my father is and how beautiful and giving my mother is. My parents are so important to me and I just feel so blessed it's all happening. I'm also thankful that my husband is all for it too. I know that it's not always going to be smooth sailing. I mean let's be real...I haven't lived with my parents since I was 20 years old. But my parents are in their late 70's so every moment counts. I have a tremendous amount of re-arranging to do around the house which is good because it will keep me busy while Eye is gone. Yea for family!
" I can't swallow pills, I need a banana," is something I heard from my mother all my life. Low and behold, I too have a problem with swallowing pills. I use to be great at it. I didn't need a banana or other food in my mouth to disguise the huge prenatal pills. After all I have been taken them for over a year with no problem. But lately every time I go to take my pills, I gag, I throw up a little in my mouth (gross I know), or I end up spitting it out. I have resorted to cutting my pills in half and then disguising them with food. I don't what's wrong with me. I use to hear my dad say to my mom, "Honey...it's all in your head." My father is a wise man.
